  • How do I find out my size for the LX?

    The LX is one size. The rear adjustable strap and interchangeable cheek pads dial-in the fit for different shapes and sizes. For proper fit instructions, please read our headgear booklet.×
  • How do I order the Cascade LX?

  • Is there a discount for a Team Order?

    Team pricing is available through a Cascade Sports Authorized Retailer. Schools, Coaches, Captains, Boosters and any organization may be eligible for team pricing.   • What is the warranty on the LX?

    The Cascade LX has a One Year Warranty. If you require a repair and your Cascade LX is under warranty, you can contact Customer Service at 800.537.1702 to obtain a Return Authorization (RA) number. All returns must be issued a RA number to be received & processed. To obtain an RA number you will need the serial number from the headgear so please remember to have the headgear nearby when you call. The serial number can be found on the inside of the rear panel.×
  • Can the LX be reconditioned?

    The ASTM standard F3137 does not include reconditioning protocol for women’s lacrosse headgear, so the LX cannot be reconditioned.×

  • Is the LX approved for play?

    The LX is approved for play by US Lacrosse, the National Federation of High School Associations (NFHS) and the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA). It is listed on both approved equipment lists by US Lacrosse and the Florida High School Association (FHSAA).×
  • Is headgear optional, recommended or mandated?

    Headgear is designated as an optional piece of equipment for women’s lacrosse. Rule 2. Uniforms and Equipment, Section 10 states that:

    “Effective January 1, 2017 any player choosing to wear headgear may only wear headgear that meets the ASTM F3137 standard for women’s lacrosse.”

  • Is headgear mandatory in Florida?

    The Florida High School Association (FHSAA) has made headgear a mandatory piece of equipment for women’s lacrosse. Starting 1/1/18, any headgear worn must meet the new ASTM standard F3137. For the 2017 season, headgear worn must be on the FHSAA list of approved headgear:

  • Are there any changes to the goggles rules for 2017?

    The rules for 2017 were updated to include the new ASTM standard F3077 for women’s lacrosse goggles.

    The rules state in Rule 2. Uniforms and Equipment, Section 9:

    “Eye protection must meet the most current ASTM Specification Standard 3077 for women’s lacrosse, and must be listed on the US Lacrosse web site. As of 1/1/17, only the F3077 standard will be legal for play.”×

The standards provide a set of guidelines and test procedures to which manufacturers can develop products. ASTM standards increase the level of product performance and allow end consumers to have confidence in the products they use.×
  • What are the 2 new Women’s Lacrosse ASTM Standards and what do they include?

    The 2 new standards available for women’s lacrosse are F3137 for women’s lacrosse headgear and F3077 for women’s lacrosse goggles. F3137 for headgear has 3 main test requirements; a drop impact test that simulates a 45 mph stick swing, a 60 mph ball impact test and a deformation test to ensure a level of flexibility. F3077 is a specific eyewear standard for women’s lacrosse and adds additional testing conditions from the previously specified general eyewear standard. ×
  • Which ASTM Standards does the Cascade LX meet?

    The LX meets the requirements for both new standards: F3137 for headgear and F3077 for eyewear.
